What Customers Say About Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games:

The game is both intense and frusterating. On multiplayer it has about a month of good times for people. I bought this game for my nephew, and it's a very very fun game for both him, me, and random people that played it. I didn't get a chance to unlock all the games on it. The 4x100 meter swim, you have to want to win that event. Which, I think a game should be. Overall, I think after a week of constant play, on single player this game will visit the shelf.
I think. It's very reminscent of Track and Field for NES. But a week of single player and a month of Multiplayer is surely getting your money's worth. And I can see it being a lot of fun for adults just as much as kids. But the ones included, were a lot of fun. Also, it's actually a good workout. Want it real bad to.
I also thought that the archer was somewhat complicated - though not impossible. I bought this for my 8 year old son - a Mario/Sonic addict - and it is really fun. The directions aren't that great either. You can play many different sports - most of them revlve around running, but then so do the Olympics - and all of them appeal to one of our family members or the other.Good things: The wide spectrum of games, the different characters with different skills (making you pick someone based on what he/she can do and not on who he/she is), and the wonderful graphics.Bad things:Boy will your arms get tired. Even swimming makes you do similar running moves so unless you are in good shape you'll need to take a break after a while. On the javelin it took many times of awful throws until my son really cranked one and then all of us said "What did you do." Directions could be ALOT more explanatory - you shouldn't have to stumble on the right combination to do something right.Really like this game. My son likes it alot more than me, but its pretty fun for adults too.
It is much more fun with other people. When i got this game i got it because i love mario and sports but i dont like sonic. The controls r kind of hard to use and it is dumb when u r playing pin pong and u keep missing. So i thought that i could be the mario series and i would beat the sonic series. It was kind of fun at first but then it gets boring especially by ur self. The only thing i like is the shooting and running. This game is not very fun and most of the events r to hard or is not realistic at all.
This game is a lot of fun for the whole family. It is great for all ages and challenging enough for anyone.
We rarely play this any more and the novelty wore off after like a week.
